Holy Eid Miladunnabi on 2 December


Rabi ul Awal moon moon in the sky today (Sunday) in the country can not be seen. For this reason, the count of Rabiul Awal month will start from Tuesday (November 21st). On the 2nd of December (12 Rabiul Awal) will be celebrated on the holy Eid-ul-Mulyundabi (S).

The decision was taken at a meeting of the National Moon Meeting Committee in the hall of the Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram on Sunday evening. Acting Secretary of the Religious Affairs, Anisur Rahman, presided over the meeting.

Anisur Rahman, secretary of the meeting said that according to the information received from all the district administration, head office, divisional and district offices, meteorological department, aerospace research center and remote sensing institute of the Islamic Foundation, the moon of 1439 hijri Rabiul Awal was not seen in the sky. That's why 30 days of the month of the trip are being completed on Monday (November 20th). Rabiul Awal month counting begins on Tuesday (November 21st). On the 2nd of December (12 Rabiul Awal) the holy Eid will celebrate the birth of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

The Muslims observe the 12 Rabi'ul Awal, the birthplace and death day of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Because on this day Prophet Karim (S.) died. Accordingly, on December 2 will be 12 Rabiul Awal. Milad Mahfil organized for mosques and religious institutions on Eid Miladunnabi (S.) day.
