Report on Kosum in the pornography case on February 18th

The Court has fixed the date for submitting the investigation report against seven people, including actress Kusum Shikder, on the charge of the music video. On Sunday, the case was fixed on the day of submission of the investigation report. However, due to the failure to submit the report to Ramna Police Station, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Nurunnahar Yasmin filed the report on February 18. On September 17, the Supreme Court lawyer Khandker Nazmul Ahsan filed the case with the plaintiff. The court took the case and asked Ramna Police Station to investigate the case. In addition to the song singer and model Kusum Sikder, some others were accused in the case including co-model Khaled Hossain Sujon, director of the film Shuvro Khan and Srabani and managing director of video publishing company 'Banga' (Steller Digital Ltd). It is said in the document that on August 3, a music video titled 'Nasha' was released from the YouTube channel 'Bangbadi' by actress Ksum Shikder. With the release of Kusum Sikder's appealing presence in the video, criticism started in the media and social media. Later on 13th August, lawyers of Aftab Uddin Siddiqui Raghib gave a legal notice to the plaintiff for removing all the legitimate videos and teasers from the song on August 13. Still, the prosecution was filed in accordance with section 8 of the Penograph Regulation Act 2012.
